Antonis Petrou-Amerikanos (GDC Number 71475)

Dr. Petrou-Amerikanos qualified in 1985 and with his skills, gentle approach and wonderfully calming manner has earned the undying devotion of numerous grateful patients over the subsequent years. He is particular balm to those of a nervous disposition.

Following his qualification and until 1996 he was a popular tutor at the University of Thessaloniki Greece in the department of Operative Dentistry. Having received his implant certification in 1992 he has been able to provide implant services both here and overseas and has placed and restored over 1900 implants.Dr Petrou-Amerikanos artistry and skill has developed a popular implant centre. In addition in 2005 he added facial aesthetics to his skill-set, using muscle relaxing injections and fillers. More recently he trained to use Clearstep an orthodontic system without braces.

He is a member of the British Dental Association, the Association of Dental Implantology and a regional fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. To relax he turns to the stage and has trodden the boards at both the Watersmeet and Wycombe Swan Theatres.

Nicola Petrou-Amerikanos

As Practice Director, Nicola's is the finger firmly on the pulse and she's the (usually!) calm hub of the business, keeping things running smoothly. You may find her filling-in on reception, orchestrating extra training for staff, helping someone sort out their insurance and finance or with a baby perched on her hip while mum is in the chair.

Nicola came from a background as a professional bookkeeper and then for several years ran a successful restaurant and bar together with holiday accommodation in Greece. She is also qualified in Counselling Skills and Theory. All these skills, combined with her self-confessed general bossiness and a genuine wish to make people feel better, have stood her in good stead since she and Tony took over the Practice, moving it forward from a basic practice to the acclaimed General and Cosmetic Dental and Facial Aesthetics centre of excellence it is today.

Dr Gerald Blieden

Gerald has over twenty five years experience in all aspects of Dentistry and besides his Bchd qualifications has a two year post graduate diploma in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry including training in the prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry. Gerald has had wonderful results,as many of his patients can testify intransforming the dentition from unacceptable levels. He is a past president of the Eastcape Branch of the Dental Association of South Africa and an active ongoing participant in further regular dental education in the UK. Gerald's expertise also includes the utilzation of Clearstep, a new orthodontic technique and he also has a special interest in Endodontics.

On a personal side Gerald has taken part in, and completed, ten 50-mile Ultra Marathons. He enjoys theatre, Golf and all sports.

Jagdip Soneji BDS Hons (London) - GCD 61920

Dr Soneji (or Jag as he likes to be called) graduated with Honours from the Royal London Hospital (1986), and has practiced in Maida Vale, Harrow and Harley Street.

Jag specialises in orthodontics for all ages as this also supports having embraced a more holistic approach to his provision of dental care without compromising dental efficiency. Jag is a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy and has studied clinical nutrition, attending conferences dedicated to holistic dental care. Having been a mercury-free dentist for several years, he has also virtually eliminated the use of any metals as restorative materials.

Souraya Kasenally BDS, MFDS, RCSEng, MClinDent Perio, MRD, RCSEng

Dr Kasenally is our specialist periodontist and qualified with BDS (distinction) from Guy's and Kings Dental institute in 2003 and passed the MFDS exams at the RCSEngland. She completed her 3-year specialty approved postgraduate training at Queen Mary University of London to gain her Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology (distinction). She then passed the Royal College of Surgeons of England Specialty exams to become a Member in Restorative Dentistry (Periodontics). Soureya has worked in general practice, hospital and community and is an Associate Specialist in periodontics at Barts and the London Dental Hospital, London. She has a special interest in the oral care of radiotherapy patients and other medically compromised patients.

Stefka Boyadzhiva

Stefka has a wealth of dental experience in all areas of dentistry and her invaluable knowledge helps support Gerald and Tony ensuring our patients receive the service they come to expect from Qualidental.

She is qualified in Radiography and is our Radiation protection supervisor. Stefka has a great sense of humour though very softly spoken.

Dousana Zakrerska

Dousana is a nurse for Antonis and Jag helping to provide the excellent support for treatments that our patients deserve or need. She is a very hard working member of Qualidental and invaluable to us. Dousana's caring for people in general and her high standards are a great asset to us. Though has be known to moan when she has to work while sun shines brightly outside!

Lynette Bannister

Qualidental are proud to welcome Lynette, a top notch Practice Administrator, to our team whose background of working at the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust in London for 21 years will be invaluable in managing efficiently our caring dental and medical facial aesthetics clinic. She is a real multi-tasking marvel with total professionalism and extremely high standards. What a breath of fresh air . . . . Mary Poppins meet your match!

Annie Weston

Annie, always ready with a warm smile to greet you, is originally from the high end corporate sector with a lot of experience in hospitality and customer service. She is a qualified Bowen therpaist with a passion for alternative health and well being. She has enjoyed working in the dental sector for almost 5 years. Also, a great believer in positive thinking and a total advocate of the power of a smile! In her spare time, she studies complementary therapies and loves nothing better than to be out in nature, picking useful herbs and plants. Tina Smith

Tina has been working as a dental receptionist at Qualidental since Jan 08 and is our desk coordinator. More importantly her priority is to ensure that your time with us is as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Prior to this Tina worked as an account administrator for IBM UK ltd, where she gained experience in the fields of administration and accounting. She enjoys interacting with people both professionally and socially.

Outside of work her interests include reading, keeping fit and singing.
